Towns, Cities, Counties, States & Federal Agencies

There are over 30,000 government agencies nationwide who are responsible for issuing government checks aka warrants to vendors, and for a myriad of other reasons. The checks are sent to the Payee. Ninety-nine percent of the time the government agency does not contact the Payee of outstanding checks to find out why they did not deposit them. In many cases, the government agencies allow for a 1-3 year period to deposit a check or have a check reissued. Government agencies make added money by Payees not cashing checks owed to them.

Local, State &

Federal Courts

There are 500+ courts in the United States. Uncashed checks can accrue over time in the court system and similar to government agencies, the courts do not contact Payees when they do not deposit their checks.

Tax Refunds & Overpayments

Property tax refunds & overpayments, sales tax refunds, franchise tax refunds often are held by government agencies of all levels of government. We will gladly work with corporate entities to locate and recover Tax Refunds & Overpayments.

Julie hires researchers to locate lists and assist in confirming which checks & warrants are valid. Lawyers are used to review contracts and assist in filing when necessary.

Clients find Julie very easy to work with and great at following on all details. Adding to our clients bottom line is always our goal. As is standard in our business the Client is always paid first. Once the Client has received their funds, Reclaim Lost Assets receives it’s fee from the Client. If the Client isn’t paid, Reclaim Lost Assets will not be paid either.

General counsel - REIT, Centerpoint Properties to CALPERS

As we discussed, Julie Kaye Kalb’s company identifies unclaimed assets on behalf of clients and recovers it for them typically on a contingency fee. Julie has done similar work for CenterPoint Properties, and she has now identified some potentially material unclaimed funds on behalf of CalPERS.

I am writing to recommend Julie Kaye Kalb and her company Reclaim Lost Assets to handle your collection/unknown asset needs. FUNimation is pleased with the success collection effort Julie undertook for us in 2015. Julie was very communicative and professional and the outcome was exactly as she promised.

Thomas Bucks Senior Vice President Finance

I had the pleasure of working with Julie Kaye Kalb of Reclaim Lost Assets on a recent asset recovery effort. My company had not previously engaged an asset recovery specialist, so it took me a long time to obtain the internal management sign off to engage her firm. She was extremely patient and understanding during this time. I also found her to be extremely easy to work with, very forthright in our communications back and forth, and certainly very knowledgeable in the asset recovery area. My initial experience with her was very positive, and I would not hesitate to engage her on future recovery efforts.

CFO for Cornerstone Properties, Owner of multi state apartment communities

I am happy to give a positive reference for Julie Kaye Kalb. On three occasions she has located and successfully retrieved unclaimed assets which we were unaware of. Her fees are 15% of the amount recovered and we pay her after the total has been sent to us and successfully deposited into our account. One time she found over $125k for us. Another time she recovered $35k. She is incredibly helpful and does all the leg work. She sends very specific instructions so you don’t have to waste a lot of time figuring out the process. Besides all this, she is a real pleasure to work with. I highly recommend engaging her to reclaim your lost asset.
